JUNE 2021 - U.S. Navy partners with United mesh solutions
United Mesh Solutions is supporting the U.S. Navy track, monitor, and report the identity, location, and health/condition of critical and high-interest parts and assets at designated Navy bases. Under a multi-year contract these efforts are supporting Navy logisticians and safety personnel while feeding data to Navy’s inventory and data management systems. Using our patented mist® microchip tags, our wireless sensor mesh devices will track key Navy assets and emergency response personnel, monitoring their location and status while providing event notifications to allow Navy managers to quickly react to changing priorities and situations. Our efforts is allowing the Navy to achieve a hands-free, enterprise-wide, autonomous system that provides timely, secure asset visibility, ultimately ensuring dynamic data availability and earlier
response actions. Initial assets being monitored include Navy forklifts and other material handling equipment, small boats, and emergency response personnel and their equipment. Our technology offers the Navy remote programming; continuous hands-off reporting; sensors for event reporting; extended battery life; a bi-directional network protocol allowing autonomous operation; Military grade (FIPS-140) encryption; Hazard of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO) approval; and self-healing/reconfiguration capability. The Navy selected UMS and our patented mesh protocol to improve workflow, save money, reduce risk, and enhance logistics and emergency response in support of Naval operations.
